Dustwing was willing to learn from a very early age, and still is. He’d make a good mentor even though he grew up as a rogue.

Perceptive
Perceptive meaning he’s very sensitive to what’s around him, so much so that he sometimes becomes overstimulated.

Quiet
Dustwing isn’t the most conversational cat. He’s not quiet because he dislikes you, he just can’t think of much to say.

Independent
Having been a rogue in the past Dustwing doesn’t have much experience working in a team; He can, it just doesn’t come as naturally.

Loyal
Dustwing may have come to Windclan as a rogue, but that doesn’t affect his loyalty. He admires Windclan’s tenacity and speed and is proud to count himself of its ranks.

Driven
Dustwing severely cares for his clan and so is driven to protect and fight for it; that is his main purpose.

History

Kit
Dust was born to a tortoiseshell named Checkers alongside a brother: Hawk, and a sister: Eva. He and his siblings lived under a small shack near a twoleg building with a lot of traffic(bank). Dust had a fairly normal life, but became quite bored with his mundane surroundings. At the age of one cycle he left the shack and his family, not sparing much emotion for a teary goodbye.

Young Rogue(Apprentice Age)
Dust was a fairly skilled cat in hunting and found he was especially skilled at hunting rabbits. He had a knack for speed. He stayed a rogue and didn’t question this role until coming upon a pair of cats who exhibited a similar strength in speed. Dust did not approach them, instead waiting and watching.

Adult Life (Warrior)
Dust waited for a moment to ask to join this small band of cats. He only knew of two: Wind and Gorse. They seemed like a couple of cats he would be content to follow. Dust procrastinated, cursing his silent nature, but when a battle broke out among all the rogues, he fought on the side of the fast cats. Wind became Windstar and when she began to gather the quickest and most cunning cats, Dust followed. Since then the rogue became a warrior: Dustwing. He’s been a much more happy cat in a clan than he ever was living under that old shack or by himself.

Pitchfur narrowed his eyes at his brother. Why had Monarchstar put them on the same patrol? Everyone knew the brothers didn’t get along. Embertail was stomping through the territory, scaring off any chance of prey.
“It’s your fault we’re not catching anything, you know,” he growled.
Embertail glared at him, “That’s right, blame me.”
“I might as well, as often as you’re blaming me.”
The toms squared off for a moment, then turned in different directions. “I’ll catch more than you!” called Pitchfur over his shoulder.
“You can try!” Embertail called back.
The two headed off in opposite directions. This was the only way they ever worked together.
